I'll probably post less often now, I found daily posting somehow overwhelming sometimes. This way I can be more selective. This was shot yesterday from my apartment window, thick fog forming over the mountains in this winter rainy weather.

After 4 years, I finally sent my camera to get the sensor cleaned. Looks like they did a good job. This is a macro of a lamp in my living room reflecting the 1st and 2nd floor.

Now I need to clean that lamp, lol.

There was a brief thunderstorm in Bogota last night. This was one of a series of shots from my window; I set my camera to shoot 20 sec shots at 25 sec intervals.

A candid shot this past weekend at a friend's house, he thew an awesome BBQ. This is Juan Diego, shooting 2 other friends with a point & shoot. It's tough to shoot this handheld in low light...but I guess this one works.

The Tagua hand, this guy (the hand) has worked Tagua for years. His hand basically spoke about what Tagua was about. This was shot last December with the owner of muichic.com, a site that sells one of the best hand-made selection of Tagua accessories. Check it out!, it's totally organic.

Yesterday we celebrated el "Día de las Velitas" (candles day). It's the day that marks the start of christmas, It's celebrated since 1854. It is said it was declared a holiday since December 8th was the day of virgin Mary's immaculate conception. The holiday is today, and we light candles yesterday, people gather with friends and family at home, parks or at the streets.

Merry christmas to all, or at least the start of it.
